Very nicely located, a little away from the main temple. The outside tables are on straw mats under a shade which is really pleasant. The food is mostly average except for the original soba dish in yume (plum) broth. It's also possible to just drink a cup of tea and eat the local...

Food was decent and it was already on the table when we reached. It was not warm or hot. But taste...

Rude! We were shouted at and pointed to get out, when all we asked if we could eat there. The lady told us off that they were full and we have to get lost from the restaurant. Shocking !

I wont advice for...

Was there as part of a tour group. This cafe is located within the temple grounds. Lots of seating but there were a lot of tour groups. Food was decent and it was already on the table when we reached. It was not warm or hot. But taste wise was OK.

Comfort food with planty of seats. Nice complimentary cold tea. Recommend: 親子丼(oyako-don) . Tried half bowl original and added pepper and spices for the rest.

大宰府天満宮の、本殿すぐ裏手にあるお食事処。 もちろん梅ヶ枝餅も売ってます。 中は大型団体でも入れる大きなお店。 椅子テーブル席が多いけど奥の席は靴を脱いで座るタイプの席もあります。 トイレはお店の横、1度お店を出てすぐ右手。 食事は幕の内を頂きました。 梅ヶ枝餅が美味しかったです。 余談ですが、梅ヶ枝餅は餅粉と白玉粉で作っていて、中に梅は入っておらず、餡子が入っていてシンプルで美味しい和菓子。白玉粉って言うのがいいですよね。菅原道真公にこの土地のおばあさんが梅の枝にこの餅をくくりつけて差し入れをしたことから梅ヶ枝餅という名がついたとバスガイドさんが教えてくれました。大宰府では梅ヶ枝餅が色んなお店で食べることができます。 お店の方は団体旅行慣れしていて、テキパキと席への誘をして下さいました。 ご馳走様でした
