Ramennotoyama Tsukemenkan — Restaurant in Fujisawa

Came with my wife and son for tsukemen. Very friendly greeting from the staff and then ordered on the machine. We aren’t good at Japanese so it was a struggle. We used google translate to translate the screen. We got regular sized bowls of tsukemen thinking it’d be like most ramen places in Japan.

The “normal” size here is huge. I eat a lot. I almost always end up finishing my wife and kid’s orders at ramen places in Japan.

Here, there was zero chance. It was just too much.

The noodle quality was awesome. The dipping broth was so good and even better with added garlic.

Plus the lady told us if you have room, put rice into the leftover dipping sauce for more deliciousness! I had no space to do that.

I did try the seasoned rice and that was delicious!

I asked if there was any way we could box up our leftovers (I’ve never ever even asked that at a Japanese restaurant but the food was soooo good). Unfortunately not possible. I felt so bad leaving so many delicious noodles uneaten!

They have kid sized ramen orders or you can always share your own with the kids bowls and silverware they have out in easy reach for families to help themselves.

Will definitely come back here...

県道30号線沿いにある人気のラーメン店。店内の券売機でチケットを買い、お店の方に手渡しするシステム。麺をオーダーするとライスが食べ放題という太っ腹。メニューにカレー系があったので、迷わずオーダー

・カレー油そば　辛口　990円 ・餃子　390円 ・ダシ注射式玉子　130円

ライスは紅ショウガごはんと白飯。まずは紅ショウガごはんを。ちょっとオイリーだが紅ショウガのアクセントもあり、サクッと食べられる

麺はモッチリ食感でカレー風味の油タレと良く絡んでおいしい

金・土・日曜日は餃子の日で通常5個が6個とお得感あり。表面はカリッと中は肉汁ジューシーで好きなタイプ

ダシ注射式玉子はひとくちで食べるのがオススメと聞き、そのままパクリ。なるほど！口内でダシと卵の旨味二重奏！

麺を食べ終えて白飯を投入。シメのカレーライス的な感じで大満足(^^)

他ラーメン店と一線を画すオリジナリティがありなかなか良かった。次回は8月末まで期間限定のエスニック系ラーメンを食べてみたい ———————————————— 2024.0814(水)

グツグツのつけ汁はカラシビが効いてパンチがあるのがいい。麺はモチモチで食感がよく、麺をすする手が止まらない。麺を注文するとごはんが食べ放題なので、一杯目は紅生姜ごはんを味変的に食べて、二杯目は白飯を残ったつけ汁に投入。めっちゃおいしい❗️
