Yakitori no meimon Akiyoshi — Restaurant in Fukui

(visits: 5+) (3.5 stars) Don't get me wrong, Akiyoshi isn't bad, but of the 3 yakitori places I frequent it's my least favorite. It tastes great, great for sure, but I find them expensive. Two beers and enough food to fill up will easily cost you 2500 yen or more. For example I find Genkotsu even nicer, both the food and the restaurant and you get more food for slightly less per dish. Just by chance I went to this akiyoshi 2 times last week and it was great. Before that it was quite a while since we went because the Mama-san tried to screw us in the bill not once but 3 different times. We would always order a bunch of stuff and not receive never dish, but they marked it on our receipt as ordered. It was only the Mama-san who did this and only at this location. She wasnt here the last two times and surprise, the service was excellent and bill was fine. So if you go watch out for the Mama-san and pay attention to your order. Also small location, if you go during peak times expect to wait. And little to no parking. Also last order is around 930 and they kick you...

〆は焼きおにぎり！ 良いコゲ加減に舌鼓を打ちます。

他の焼き鳥屋さんと比べると断然安いと感じますが、身はかなり小さいです。

ただ2杯ほど飲んで1人4000弱でした。
