博多しゃぶしゃぶ あり田 — Restaurant in Fukuoka

During our 5-days stay in fukuoka we visited this small restaurant for shabu shabu. It was the best choice! The food was very delicious and we had a lot of fun with other guests and the staff. Great atmosphere, fantastic food, service, drinks and most important very kind and open-minded people. This was our most exciting evening in Fukuoka. We would recommend this restaurant to all international people who would like to eat in a more traditional restaurant. Please note, there is no english menu but very helpful staff. This is such a great find near the Roppommatsu area of Fukuoka. It’s 5 mins walk from the subway station. Very quirky location by the river. It’s very small with a maximum table for 10 I think. Beef is amazing and so as the local sake 寒北斗. Really recommend when you are in the area. The owner doesn’t really speak English but he’s so friendly just make sure you have google...

Pork there is delicious, but expensive, it cost around 1500-1800 yen each plate with not many pieces, we have two adults and two kids, ate around 5 plates of meats, in my viewpoint not so worthy but can have a try. The waitress...
