Incredible outstanding private dining omakase experience that is surprisingly very affordable. Sushi Aso is tucked away in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, with very discrete sign that points to the second floor. (Turns out the owner lives nearby and is very particular on the quality of what is put on the menu). From the beginning we were cared for by very attentive and swift staff who were fluent in English as well. Sitting along a small counter of only 6 seats, it was a theatrical experience before you as you watch each bite being prepared, interspersed with hot dishes coming from the back kitchen. After dining at many omakase restaurants, I can wholeheartedly say that Sushi Aso is the highest quality.
