COBY Ginowan — Restaurant in Ginowan

My wife and I have been to Coby’s around four-five times. They have two other restaurants in Chatan and Naha. This is a great little restaurant to get cheap drinks and even cheaper food. All the food for the most part is ¥500 or lower and it’s delicious. Whiles for drinks there’s an all you can drink option for ¥1500 or you can get individual drinks (the price varies drink by drink). The servers are attentive but the place does seem to be understaffed the food on average comes out slower than expected and severs always seem to be in a rush. Making it hard to wave them down. I recommend going during happy hours or places a reservation in advance. They have both english and Japanese menus and big enough tables to do either a pair setting or a whole group outing. Parking is the biggest issue because of location and limited parking.

This is mostly a place for drinking, the food menu is small. ¥500 for most meals. The menu has a few simple food items like pizza, the beef stew is in a tiny bowl. The pizza is very thin crust but tastes good.

The Staff is friendly and serves your food and drinks quickly.

The atmosphere is modest, the first floor is a little tight, there is an upstairs area.

Variety music plays lightly above.

The toilet is shared and very close to the seating on the first floor.

This is a last resort restaurant when you need to eat something after 9pm. This restaurant stays open until 1am.

I won’t recommend this place. Last month I celebrated my birthday here. We had reservations for 6 adult. Upon entering the restaurant it’s cozy place the Japanese staff greeted us and give the menu. we selected TABEHODAI & NOMIHODAI its range 3,600¥. I don’t know if it’s first time to accommodate a foreigner, we would like to order a food but according to staff there is a sequence in the menu. My god! It took 45 mins for one plate of salad, (we’re 6 adult) then we wait again Another 30 mins for chicken &fries. After a hour one plate of pasta served. Are you okey? Serving portions not enough for 6 adults and the waiting time makes us dizzy. Lastly unlimited pizza (literally thin crust) poor service I won’t dine here again. One of worst customer service I had...
