After my wife’s CrossFit team from Akishima completed the Spartan Race, we headed to Marumiya Crafter in Okinawa to celebrate, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The cozy, inviting atmosphere was made even better by the warm hospitality of the family who owns the restaurant and their staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home, treating us like old friends rather than customers.
We opted for the full-course menu with drinks included, which was ideal for our group. The meal started with a fresh, vibrant salad and an assortment of small bites, each full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared. The pizzas that followed were excellent – thin, crispy, and topped with quality ingredients. Another fresh salad came out before the main meat plate, which featured perfectly cooked cuts that were tender and satisfying.
Throughout the evening, the staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The personal connection between my wife’s friend and the owners added an extra layer of warmth to the experience.

Read moreI was excited to visit due to the high reviews. Left highly disappointed, non of the staff wore a mask. If I could, I would offer no stars.
We discovered they charged 10% of tax and were very unclear with the receipt. They added a 9 yen to make an even number to make the bill look nicer
We ordered a pizza, a pasta, and two drinks ( which they forced us to buy)
The pizza was saturated in oil, and the pasta lacked any flavor, we had to ask for more salt just try to give it some taste.
During our dining, there was a dog, which came out of nowhere (inside the restaurant), and a kid playing with a ball around the kitchen entrance.
There is a PEPEPE Italian restaurant, 2 minutes away, much better food.
You can tell many detail that let you know PEPEPE restaurant cares about their food, better tastes definitely. We went there 2 days ago accidentally, since Marumiya closes earlier than PEPEPE. I had always wanting to visit, but...
Read moreWalked in today for lunch around noon for the first time after I saw this place on the app. The place was pretty busy, but even with that considered the parking situation rough. A good liquor selection pizza and pasta. I’m obviously here for the pizza, one bite. The guy tells me that there is NO pizza today, and only today. After I order the pasta (greasy but good) I see the same guy brining out a hot ham and cheese pie to the table over. I double checked if I understood the status of the pizza maker and yeah just today and just for me the pizza is...
