Great sushi and Izakaya with a lot of history here in Okinawa.
Back in 1984 my first sushi experience was at the original Highway Sushi located on Highway 58 just outside of Futenma Air base.
The current sushi chef is the son of one of the original proprietor’s and his skills and the food quality is excellent.
The prices and portions are perfect. Get away from the over priced Chatan tourist Izakayas and try some great traditional Okinawa foods prepared like mom’s cooking.
