Eggs 'n Things Coffee — Restaurant in Gotenba

Everything self service. Waiters keep remaining you there is no service whatsoever. So zero service. Then at least put a cat robot then? I would be going to food court if I don't need service. You need to get the food,drink yourself, cutlery too, clean up the table yourself.

Added "coffee" to the restaurant name trying to cut cost, but didnt decrease the price.

food doesnt taste good anyway.

Japanese are obedient and disciplined, government and companies take it granted and exploiting Japanese. Reducing human resources and unemployment rate keep increasing.

Basically coming here for the view.

People get into cafe/restaurant because they feel tired, they want to refresh. And if I do this do that. How can I rest?

If you want me to get cutlery by ourselves. As least the cutlery is on the table. Or get those table that has drawers.

This Eggs and Things is unlike its brother and sister restaurants. The decor is nice however the service is almost non existent. Ordering is done via your cellphone. You also have to grab your own utensils and drinking water. The service is subpar at best and the food does not hold up its reputation. We were seated at dirty tables, it took almost 15 minutes before our waitress came around to ask if we had already ordered or to see if we needed assistance. When our orders did finally come, they came several mins apart which was frustrating because our family eats together. With the lack of service that we received, I feel that there should be a discount provided. This may be Eggs and Things experiment to see if they can create a new cost savings model that is stainable. I will not be visiting this...

Usually this chain is really good however this one branch is very weird, we were there at the end of the day, arrived an hour and a half before closing time, they were still accepting people after us as well. The potatoes in the dishes were full of oil, and very “tired” (like they weren’t cooked properly, oil temperature maybe), the service was very rude, closing orders before the time they said when we entered. Also, we left way before closing time (15 minutes or so) and one of the staff members were just plain rude. This is a self service mind you, so I could never guess how can they screw up so badly. The staff member was rude and with no manners at all. I think it was the end of the day for them, thus the very unkind approach and bad food, but I will never go back there even if I do...
