I heard this eatery is the first place for udon in Gifu. We knowthe second place is in Takayama called DAIKOKUYA cause we live near by and they are great. Read moreCame here during Christmas Eve for dinner. It was really crowded during lunch, but dinner was just peaceful. Seems like it was family-run, I assumed the son was the udon-maker and chef. Everyone in the family was so polite and friendly, it felt amazing even as a foreigner. They had free unlimited number of chicken tempura just for Christmas, which was really a nice surprise.
