Hakodate Motomachi Coffee — Restaurant in Hakodate

Absolutely horrible service, suspectibly towards tourists. We went into the Cafe at 4 P.M and it was empty, but the waitress rushes us and told us the cafe closes at 5, not 5:30. She repeats it more than once too even though we already said okay. She was very dismissive when we wanted to order our drinks. When we sat down, she kept side eyeing us the entire time we were in there, even though we ordered one drink for each person.

What's worse is when we drank, the waitress made it a point to walk out of the front door, slam the door, and went back in to slam the door again. When we left the building, the door was heavy and silent enough that we know it must be done on purpose to made such loud noise.

The coffee latte and hot chocolate are delicious, but undoubtedly very pricy at about 800 yen per mug. We wanted to order the toast but it was sold out. The environment was really cozy too with good lighting and good ambience music, but frankly, it was all ruined due to the really...

There are two shops in this location - one indoor and one outdoor. They are operated by different people. I tried the outdoor, the coffee was one of the best I've had in Hokkaido. After I asked if there is toilet, the lady told me to go inside. Otw inside, I saw the indoor menu (which then I wanted to try). Inside, with my takeaway coffee cup from outdoor, they let me use the toilet. But only that. When I wanted to order the pumpkin cake, they said takeaway only (because I had my outdoor coffee cup in my hand). Their attitude was so harsh and unwelcoming, I didn't end up giving them any business. 悪天候（雪と強風）から避難所を探していた際、事前の下調べなしでこのレストランに入店。入口で、スタッフから以下のような多くの制限事項を告げられました： Entered this restaurant seeking shelter from severe weather (snow and strong winds) without prior research. Upon arrival, staff immediately listed several restrictions, for example: 因天氣惡劣（大風雪），臨時尋找庇護處而未經事先查看網上評價便進入該餐廳。在入口處，職員即告知多項限制規定，例如：

• 写真撮影・動画撮影の禁止 • No photography or video recording • 禁止拍照及錄影

• 一人につき最低1杯の飲み物の注文が必要 • Minimum one beverage order per person required • 每位顧客必須最少點購一份飲品

• 店内でのスープやアイスクリームの飲食禁止 • No consumption of soup or ice cream on premises • 禁止在店內食用湯品及冰淇淋

• 追加注文する意向を伝えたにもかかわらず、スタッフは依然として無礼な態度を取り続けました • Staff remained discourteous even after we indicated intention to place additional orders • 即使我們已表明稍後會追加訂單，服務員態度依然極為無禮

• 最初に提供された水も引き下げられ、2人分の飲み物を注文した後でようやく再提供されました • Complimentary water was withdrawn and only returned after ordering drinks for both persons • 原本端來的兩杯水被直接收走，直至我們同時點了兩杯飲品才重新提供
