Some historic government buildings built around turn of the 20th century. I didn’t find much to look at. I was attAcked by a couple of territorial crows or ravens. That’s about as exciting as it got. In my honest opinion, there is not enough to see or do in Hakodate to merit adding to your trip. Beautiful little park containing some historical buildings and museums. The grounds are well maintained and the gardens are well looked after. There is a public toilet and tourist information center and the entire park is wheelchair accessible. Was lovely to see the cherry...

Some historic government buildings built around turn of the 20th century. I didn’t find much to look at. I was attAcked by a couple of territorial crows or ravens. That’s about as exciting as it got. In my honest opinion, there is not enough to see or do in Hakodate to merit adding to your trip. However, the near by country side is stunningly beautiful so staying somewhere out of town may be a good experience.

Although it is on a hill, the view is good and it is a well-maintained park. There is Perry Square and bronze statues and buildings that give a sense of history. The view from here is amazing！ 坂の上だが、見晴らしも良く、よく整備されている公園。ペリー広場や歴史を感じる銅像や建物もある。ここからの風景眺望は素晴らしい！
