I was there for holiday and I was craving for sushi ( lunch time ) I found it from google and it was my first visit . The minute I opened the door i knew I had found a right place , sashimi was sooooo fresh , I read some reviews before choosing this place but it was so fresh , it was like eating in a stared / well known fine dinning in Tokyo ! It was so great I had to order more ! Staff was friendly and they were ok to communicate in English ( English menu and credit card accepted too ) I would come back next time ! Thanks chef for the wonderful lunch !

We gave this place a shot since it's next to our hotel and was fortunate enough to get a table before it became crowded. They do have an English menu and takes Discover card. The staff tried their best to speak in English when we couldn't understand her questions. The facility is small with sushi counter and tatami mat seatings. The sushi, sashimi, uni, rice bowl, and shrimp miso were all excellent. It's a higher price, but you pay for the quality.

Great neighborhood sushi place. Very cosy and small and can seat 20 people. They have various sushi sets and the omakase set cost 5,000 yen. Comes with 10 pieces and a generous bowl of uni and roll over rice. Overall fish is fresh and tasty. Ends with a miso soup. For omakase, we were expecting some desserts but there was none. Overall good value but lacks the touch for 5 stars. Still very recommended if you are nearby and craving for sushi.

We had a wonderful experience at Hakone sushi, as a group of 8 foreigners. The staff was very kind and friendly, they took the time to explain us how to eat properly sushi and spoke some English! The sushis were delightful and not too expensive for the traditional experience on the tatamis, eating on the floor without shoes! We highly recommend it if you are searching for a great sushi experience in Japan!

Super authentic local restaurant in Hakone. They speak mainly Japanese but can also cater to tourists with their English menu. Very delicious food, wish we ordered the anago set although the omakase itself was already outstanding and value for money.

Local sushi spot that is very authentic. Several different omakase menu options to choose from. They have traditional floor seating and a few sushi bar seats. Highly recommend a reservation. Fish was fresh & the miso was incredible!
