The restaurant is very charming with its own unique decoration. They had English menu if you asked for it. We had nabeyaki udon and grilled fished set meal, and the foods are excellent. The portion is pretty massive for Japanese standard ( I finished my meal but I had to walk like twenty minutes for digestion ). We like this place and its ambience. Definitely recommended.

I ordered beef tongue meal set and the slices were large and thin, however they were very hard to chew no matter how long I cooked. The meal set came with a rice bowl, miso soup, pumpkin side dish, and some salty greens. Besides, it was a bit pricey for the amount and quality of foods. The taste is nothing special. Though the service and environment were nice!

I love the place not only for its food but also the authenticity of a olden style Japanese restaurant. The food selection is not that much but there is somthing for everyone. Every inch of the house have somthing is decorated with somthing close to the owner, can tell its a family run business and pictures shows the place when they were in the 70ties.

This was my best meal in almost 3 weeks! I am very fussy about food but this was spectacular. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. I had a tofu set meal because I hate fat on food and that’s very difficult to achieve in Japan. We had great wine and we were stuffed. We highly recommend this place. The staff are very sweet!!

Wonderful authentic place to eat! Food and atmosphere were fantastic. Great value for money, we had one of the set meals with a selection of dishes. Be aware that most restaurants (including this one) close relatively early in the evening, so check the closing time before you go there.

Very nice restaurant with a relaxing traditional Japanese atmosphere. The menu doesn't have a lot of options but they're all very good and and diverse (beef sukiyaki, tempuri, sashimi rice bowl etc). Every option comes in a set menu with rice and miso soup, for a reasonable price.
