I had the pleasure of staying at a charming Japanese guesthouse for three nights during the New Year holidays, and it was an unforgettable experience. The traditional Japanese-style room was cozy, clean, pretty suitable for families or groups. One of the highlights was the home-cooked Japanese meals prepared by the owner, which were simply delicious.
The owner, a kind local man who has lived in Hakuba village, Nagano for over 30 years, made my stay even more special. He was incredibly friendly and offered great insights into the area, providing tips and recommendations that made my visit even more enjoyable. His warmth and hospitality truly stood out.

We also had the pleasure of staying here for our entire vacation and we will return. Read moreI mistakenly got off at the wing bus stop late around 8pm. I can't to the door because it said open. I ask then if they could call me a taxi to my hotel up the hill. They said it would be a while and that the hotel didn't have dinner that late and if I wanted to have dinner with them while I waited.
