Misaki Donuts — Restaurant in Hayama

Absolutely delicious donuts—I don’t think there’s a bad one here! I got the strawberry cheesecake and cookies & cream flavors. The strawberry cheesecake donut was incredibly light and fluffy, and it really did taste like strawberry cheesecake. The cookies & cream one was great too.

What I really liked was that they weren’t as sugary as donuts in the U.S., making them feel a little more guilt-free if you decide to have more than one. The shop also made ordering easy—they spoke enough English, and the donut labels were in both Japanese and English.
