Best taiyaki I had in Japan! We didn't get this taiyaki at their actual store location, but we did from a food truck parked along the main road on the way to the castle. I'm not sure how they did it, but the interior breading is so fluffy while the exterior remains very crisp. Many taiyaki I had in Japan were more dry inside, or not crispy on the outside. The filling is also plentiful so you have a good amount- other taiyaki skimp on the filling sometimes. If you're in Himeji, please try, it's delicious! We had to get it again before leaving...
