Mentetsu is really good restaurant that served normal AND vegan ramen dishes. They normally make the dishes with Himeji brown wheat noodle, but I asked for a gluten-free option, so they substituted rice noodles for me. For the vegan ramen, you can choose from four broths: soy, salty, miso, or curry. I had the miso, and it was very tasty and a perfect level of salty. Another member of my party had the Tororo ramen with beef and a boiled egg. The dish also came with what appeared to be egg white froth that you poured into your ramen. The dish was also served with an additional bowl of white rice on which you pour the broth of your soup to enjoy. The staff gave us each a complimentary dessert, which was a square of ice cream encased in a square cone covered in what seemed like a light chocolate powder. It was good, but likely not vegan. The restaurant was clean with fast and friendly service. I highly reccommend...

Layed back but alert service. They play music but it is on a volume where it's not a bother, but rather improve the mood. Fresh interiors with both solo disk and tables. I had himeji ramen which had a bit thicker sauce than most ramen ive had before. Thin noodles so the sauce sticks well to them. I personally prefer thick noodles but this was very tasty and matched the sauce well. Got some complementary sides as well as a bonus. Very tasty food and the staff is friendly and proficient in English. Very very good value for the money and satisfies that ramen itch. I recommend having their thin...

Hmmm would I come back here? I'm not sure~ Staff were friendly but the waitress was standing browsing her phone 🤔 Prices are fair but the quality of the ramen was average. Had the salt ramen with sliced pork. Filled me up and was nice to eat something warm but I was pretty disappointed after eating it. Coulda been worse but coulda been better… For two salt ramen with slice pork it was 2400¥. There seemed to be a lack of options for drinks too. If you like beer you're sorted but no other drinks appeared to be available. Just to bare...

Ramen joint serving miso, shoyu, tomatoes and Tonkatsu ramen, hot or cold. My Tonkatsu ramen was tasty but the meat was tough and rubbery offcuts. They always serve a small side plate of pork and some mochi for desert, but we couldn't eat our mochi because it was still frozen. They are quite assertive to get you in the door. If you so much as look at the exterior the staff will rush out to try and convince you to come in. This reminded me more of travelling in Europe.
