Chihooroshiurishijo Himiuo Market — Restaurant in Himi

Went all the way from Toyama to Himi for this experience. Himi is a fishing port, and this restaurant get their supplies directly from the fishing boats that download their catch here. We ordered 2 bowls. One of tuna and another with a mixture of different types of fish. Along with it was a bowl of fish ball soup. Gosh, each bowl was loading with layers of fresh fish from the fishing boat. I have yet to taste prawns this fresh and naturally sweet. It's an experience to savour. The price for this was also astonishing. If I had the same in my country, it would have easily cost 3 to 4 times more. Certainly worth our effort to go all the way to Himi fishing port. 氷見駅からはタクシーで行ったほうがいいです！とても歩ける距離ではありません。笑

階段上がって店前の整理券を取って並ぶスタイルでした。店前の道？はとても狭く、整理券を取った人で混雑しており、整理券が取りづらいです。整理券を取った人なのか、整理券待ちなのか分からずオロオロしていたら後ろの人に順番抜かされました…。順番が分かりづらいので星マイナス1。

30分ほどで席に案内されました！ お目当ての時価氷見ぶり丼注文。今回は2500円。先にブリのアラとつみれ？入のお汁が来て、めちゃくちゃあったまります！！！そしてあっさりしていてうまー！ぶり丼は半分ナマ、半分炙り。炙りも良かったけど全部ナマでもいいくらいめちゃ美味しい…！！

ご飯の量が選べるのも嬉しい！そんなにお腹すいてたわけじゃなかったけど美味しすぎて普通盛りぺろりでした。
