中国料理 龍園 — Restaurant in Hiratsuka

We went here because of a recommendation, it’s directly opposite the steps to the west exit of the station on the south side. A nondescript building with a cake shop on the street level and the chinese place on the 2nd floor. It was busy, good sign, and we had to wait. There really aren’t that many lunch set choices so I plumped for sweet n sour pork….a chinese staple. There were a few portion choices, a mini size which they stted was enough for 1-2 people, a 小 size for 3-4 and a 大 size for 5+ people. I asked about the mini and felt that it was too small, but worried that the 3-4 would be too big…..it wasn’t. No way is the 小 for 3-4 people….I counted 7 bits of pork….2 bits each?!? NFW! It was ¥1600 for this size and just not value for money. They also used a can of fruit salad that you can buy out the supermarket for ¥100 to create the “sweet”…..it just wasn’t value for money. The taste was average, like any Can-Do pack of 酢豚 sauce that u can buy from the supermarket for ¥1-200. I gave 2 stars bcos Mrs Beaver said her 海鮮焼そば was good but I could see that again, the ingredients were not fresh and from a frozen bag of Mixed Seafood that you can buy from Gyomu supa for cheap. Far too expensive for such cheap ingredients…Oh Sho on the opposite side of the west exit is better value and just as good taste, if not better….I...

平塚の有名なケーキ屋さんの葦のオーナーが美味い中華が食べたいと作ったお店とか。 葦は大変美味しいケーキ屋さんでお土産用にも御用達なのですが、ここの中華は大したことないと侮っており、食べに来ていませんでしたが、、、、 本日初めて頂き、美味しさに二重丸でした。 イカとチンゲン菜の🦑🥬の炒め物は、オイスターソースベースですが、イカの火の入れ方が絶妙であり、とろける様な柔らかさ、コクのある味付けで大変おいしい一皿でした。 ランチメニューの小海老とベビーホタテの塩味炒めは、シャキシャキのクワイと銀杏、大きめの海老🦐と炒めてありますが、この塩加減が絶妙でした。 もう一品は鶏肉のあんかけスープそば、これも塩味がちょうどよく、奥行きのある旨味があり美味しかったです。 やっぱり美味しいケーキを作るお店のオーナーは美味い中華の店も作るのだなぁと、感服しました。 これからは度々寄せて頂きたいと思います。

追記 2022年9月再訪しました。 今回は五目あんかけご飯と小盆セットを食べました。 小盆セットはラーメンと炒飯と杏仁豆腐。 五目あんかけご飯は、熱々の超具沢山のあんかけがこれでもかというほどたっぷりかかっています。旨味の塊とも言うべき、絶妙な味付けでした。 炒飯は横浜中華街の王道の炒飯という感じで、焦がし系の炒飯ではなく、さっぱりとした塩味の中にも深みのある味付け、ラーメンは醤油味王道で、最後まで飲み干したくなるスープでした。 また伺いたいと思います。美味しかった^_^

2023年8月再訪 今日は五目スープそばと五目あんかけご飯を頂きました。 スープの旨みがほんとに素晴らしく、野菜、海鮮もたっぷり入って満足感、満腹感は最高でした。五目の具材の大きさ、火の通り方も大変素晴らしいと思います。 写真を追加しておきます。

2023年11月再訪 季節のおすすめ 豚肉とキノコのあんかけ焼きそば　1100円 サンラータンメン　四川酸味辛味スープそば　1100円を頂きました。 焼きそばは肉厚の椎茸とエリンギ、歯触りの良い筍、下味のついた豚肉、味のアクセントにサヤエンドウ🫛。 甘辛オイスターソースの焼き強めの柔らか麺。味、量ともに大満足でした。

サンラータンメンは、辛味と酸味が絶妙で、辛いのが弱い人でも食べられます。とにかく旨味も凝縮されていて、これもスープを飲み干してしまうくらい美味しく頂きました。 写真を追加しておき...
