司馬 五日市店 — Restaurant in Hiroshima

Walked in spontaneously as I was in the mood for Chinese dishes. Although nobody spoke much English or Mandarin, the chef was very willing to help and I managed to order a beef dish as well as wakame soup. Both were very tasty -the beef was so tender and delicious, which surprised me since I'm very picky about beef dishes. This place really knows its stuff and really makes me wonder about their other dishes -ma po tofu seems to be one of their specialties...

Anyway, I highly highly recommend this place!! Prices are reasonable too -around...

Tried this restaurant since I was craving for some dimsum. I ordered gyoza, siomai and water gyoza. I also had chahan to go with it. The food was delicious, nicely seasoned. ここではラーメンしか食べていないのですが味は文句なしで満点です。 広島では滅多にない東京ラーメン的な、全国区での「中華そば」です。 これに法蓮草や海苔などの青物と鳴門巻きをプラスすれば、 誰もが知る、ステレオタイプなあの「THE：中華そば」となるでしょう。 これは広島人の思う中華そばとは良くも悪くも別物。 具材に茹でもやしがないのも、逆に広島では個性的かもしれません。 スープの方も広島で一般的な白湯系豚骨醤油ではなく、 清湯系の動物系ダシをベースにしていると思われます。 魚介系ダシは恐らく入っていないかごく僅か、 油はやや多めに感じました。 しかし全くしつこさは感じませんでした。 毎日食べても飽きないかとおもいます。
