This restaurant is lovely and the food is amazing. The location is great, by the river, next to a small shrine. The building is very cozy, made of wood in the outside and inside, it’s like an old Japanese house. The food is very high quality and the price is very fair. They have a lot of variety and all is super tasty. The workers are also very kind, approachable and helpful.

I highly recommend...

Menue written mostly in japanese handwriting, therefore a bit tricky to translate with Google tools if you don‘t speak japanese (since handwriting recognition for japanese is not perfect with google translate).

娘との2人きり初旅行で、進撃の巨人の聖地巡礼で大分県日田市を訪れました。 コラボメニューがいくつかありましたが、こちらのお店、メニューを選び、事前に電話で予約して伺いました。 予約の段階からお店の方がとても優しく、お店に着いてからも気さくに話しかけてくださり、シャッターチャンスまで事前に教えてくださいました(o^^o)（進撃のメニューはモクモクとドライアイス?スモーク?が出る瞬間があったので） この事前の一言があるのと無いのとでは全然違いました！ 味はどうなのだろう...と思いましたが、1つ1つ想像の一歩先行くお味で、全てが美味しいのに驚きました。 嶺岡豆腐？生クリームと葛で作られた（はず）お豆腐を初めて食べて（千葉発祥?）その美味しさに驚きましたし、ローストビーフも脂すぎず、柔らかく、ご飯と美味しくいただきました！ お店に入ってから出るまで、とても良い気持ちで旅の楽しい思い出となりました。 観光地のお店で、こんなにスタッフの方皆さんの接客がステキなお店は今までなかったです！ いくら美味しくても、店員さんがうーんだともう行きたくないですからね(^^) ごちそうさまでした！ 本当にありがとうございました！
