Nice and quiet ambience. When I was there in 2017, there were 2 old ladies and 1 middle-aged lady running the shop. The middle-aged lady can speak English, and was very helpful in suggesting places for me to go around Ise. The cat in the pic belongs to that lady.

Beautiful old storehouse turned into a cafe, with mellow music, simple yet delicious food and wonderful service. The different staff made an effort to engage in conversation across multiple languages and the whole experience was very wholesome.

勢田川という天然運河で江戸時代より栄え、伊勢の台所と謂われた問屋街、河崎。今も旧商人の蔵や古い街並みが活動家により残されている。茶房河崎蔵はそんな蔵をカフェにした趣きある茶房だ。が、私がお邪魔した時は、玉子パックや日用品が雑然と置かれ、まるで近所の親戚の家に、散らかってるけど☕でも飲んできな！と言われ入った暗ーいダイニングの様だった❗😅せっかく、中村珈琲の美味しいカフェオレ¥５００円と濃厚チーズケーキ¥４００円　(飲み物セットだと―１００円引き。総額税込み¥８００円。)　が絶品👍だし、レコード🎷🎹盤JAZZが素敵に流れてたのに残念！！接客はアットホームな、優しいお母さん。👵チーズケーキの大きさはと聞いたら、わざわざ冷蔵庫から出して見せてくれた。一杯一杯丁寧に淹れた☕はたっぷり濃い目で美味しかったゾ❗☕☕☕👍常連さん多し!駐車場は隣りに完備。😄🥧🚙
