KeMBY's Diner — Restaurant in Iwakuni

Ok here's the rundown. 800 yen for not even half glass of lousy sangria. We got the large nachos which were not so large and were made with stale chips. Got the classic burger. It was good overall but should have more fries on the plate. The Chicago veggie works pizza was a fail. First, it's not Chicago style so stop using the name Chicago. The crust was too bready and the only thing deep dish about it was that the pizza had tall crust ends. Got the Ginger ale which was so loaded with ice there was hardly any actual ginger ale. Also, made reservations for a group of six and they didn't have a table ready for us. It was like we caught them off guard. Ended up sitting at a 4 top with two additional chairs. Basic restaurant management. I may try this place again in the fall or later to see if they can work out their kinks. Until then it's...

Finally! A decent pub in Iwakuni. With locally brewed beer on tap and a cozy, and easy to get to location, this place has the perfect atmosphere to hang out with friends and enjoy either lunch, dinner, or just a night out with friends.

The food is delicious and they a variety on menu selections like pulled pork, smoked ribs, steaks, chicken, fish and chip...and the Nachos are the best I have had in Japan. This place is probably going to need to open another location soon due to the customer base the will be bringing in from the local area...sorry guys but trying to keep this place a secret isn't...

Great place for lunch. Unfortunately, we arrived minutes after they opened and so did many other groups of people. It took 10-15 for our order to be taken. The food took a while which is to be expected for fresh made food. The onion rings were amazing! Portion size was humungous. The salmon avocado was also delicious. The pizza was the main reason we visited. It took about 45 minutes to arrive, so if you are in a hurry, beware. Although it looked small, it was very filling.
