Taste-Brooklyn Dining — Restaurant in Izumo

First time going to this place, here are my first impressions: As soon as I got to the restaurant I was really well received by the staff, the interior is decorated in such a way to remind you of the US, creating a cozy atmosphere.

During the weekends the owner prepares some homemade burgers, i got the double-double (the biggest one) and it was absolutely amazing, everything was perfect, the seasoning was on point, the crispness of the lettuce, the juiciness of the burger, the fluffyness of the bread, no downsides.

After the burger I got their signature cheesecake, I thought it would be pretty plain looking cheesecake but how wrong I was! As soon as it arrived at my table I was flabbergasted, it was beautiful, it looked like a piece of art. Incredibly creamy and rich with a balanced sweetness, one of the best cheesecakes I've eaten in Japan!

I went here specifically for the burger. It was great! I think a lot of times when you get burgers in Japan, the the beef is too mixed with pork, or there is some weird sauce/toppings.

But that’s not the case here, you really get a chance to appreciate the quality of the base ingredients.

If there was anything I would change it might just be to have a bit more pickle and fries, but can’t really complain about anything else.

I’d come back here and get the double I think, if only to have more tasty...
