Yakiniku NABESHIMA Bayside branch — Restaurant in Kagoshima

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five star dining at Yakiniku Nabeshima Bayside Branch in Kagoshima 🗻, Japan 🇯🇵!

We visited recently for lunch on a rainy 🌦️ weekday in April 2024. We arrived at 13:00 and we were seated immediately (the seats by the window were all full but we got a booth by the salad bar).

We shared a couple of lunch sets between the two of us, and enjoyed the beef 🐮 skirt steak, boneless rib meat, and also the beef offal. There is an extensive salad bar which also includes kimchi, fresh fruit, deserts etc. and also self-service soft drinks and coffee.

Overall this is a great value and fun dining experience for anyone looking for a budget BBQ restaurant (we paid 3300 JPY for 2 people).

For tourists 🩳🕶️ visiting Kagoshima, it is convenient to come here for lunch after visiting Sengan-En. You can take the City View bus from Sengan-En and get off at Ishibashi...

I love yakiniku. However, I didn't love Nabeshima. Compared to other restaurants I've been to, the quality of the meat was lower than I expected. The price was quite high compared to other places as well. I also didn't care for the way you order at the restaurant. The dinner sets aren't really sets, because you have to pay extra for the salad bar and soup and things. I really wanted some more variety of sauces, and I wanted some salt and napkins, but there...

Really good buffet place in Kagoshima! was the first meal we had there and we had the 5500yen buffet set.

The wagyu beef was really good and so was the beef rib cuts as well! Salad bar also had quite a good number of options!
