Barrone — Restaurant in Karatsu

During our short time in Karatsu we went twice to the Barrone and everyone in the family, two kids and two adults, loved it. Both pizza and pasta were delicious, and the restaurant with the authentic Italian look and the food made you feel as if you were in an Italian trattoria. Tip for foreigners as we didn’t see it in the English menue: On the second day we found out that you could order a big (medium) or a super big (large) portion of pasta (for a little surplus). I've only been there for lunch, but the pastato pizza is very well done.

The basil and spices are homegrown, and the pasta they use is specially ordered, and the master takes great pride in his cooking.
