Kua Aina Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Karuizawa

When we arrived to the restaurant there was no staff at the door/lounge to welcome us and give the instructions, the place where almost empty, so we sat on a table because we were with our baby, after we sat and finish to accommodate our baby, the staff asked us to take all our belongings off the table and make the order first, we said that we were with a baby but they didn't care at all. So we took everything from the table and made our order so we can seat again at the same table we were because the staff team couldn't instruct us at the door and the staff team were a mess and a little bit unrespectful and they didn't even realized the blame, acting weird with us. If you have kids, I don't recommend you to go...

The burgers used to be very tasty, but recently the patty is not well cooked and with no flavor. The service also changed a lot, now they have a semi-automatic order system so they call the number with a loud microphone. That's very annoying because it interrupts the conversation and makes the atmosphere like a cheap fast food restaurant. There's nothing "premium" about the food or the experience anymore. Been to many Kua Aina shops in Japan but this was by far the most disappointing.

The hamburger patty for my selection was overcook. The turkey in the turkey sandwich was very salty. The potatoes included in the set seemed like it was about half the volume that I got in other shops in the Tokyo area.

The drink bar included un the set price had a pretty good selection.

There is a lot of seating with each table having its own...
