First, the positives: excellent food and service. The menu is extensive, showing that the chef has taken care to think of many different, creative options. I was shocked to find caraway seeds included on my pizza—this showed me that the recipes here are not just basic, not just shallow, but detailed and complex. The dessert I ordered was quite large, too. I was wary because it was ¥880, but it turned out to be large enough for 2 people, so the price seemed fair.

A word of caution! I do not like very spicy food, but compared to my home country, food labeled “spicy” in Japan is usually not a problem for me. But I ordered a pizza with spicy sausage and it was spicier than I expected. Just a little uncomfortable for me.

Last, the negative: the restaurant was busy, so I was seated on the terrace. I didn’t know, however, that customers were permitted to smoke on the terrace. One customer inside the store smoked 3 times during my meal. Thankfully the times didn’t coincide with when I had food on my plate, or I wouldn’t have been able to eat it. I’m very sensitive to the smell of smoke, and if I had known someone would be smoking near me, I would have come back...

I came here with my husband and as Italian, I loved it! With the pandemic has been hard to go back home and coming here I felt home. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I felt the pressure from the staff to leave. On the website there is written closing at 15, we entered at 14. The lady told us last order is at 14:30 but at that time we were almost done.
