河津の農家が営んでいる、自家農園で収穫した有機栽培の食材を活用したカフェです。佇まいや内装共に山の中腹にでも行かないと味わえないような素朴な雰囲気でありながら、河津駅から徒歩3分程度とアクセスもよく、誰でも気軽に利用することが出来ます。店内は小ぢんまりとしていますが席数は充分にあり、オープンテラスの席もあるため、晴れた日には外の新鮮な空気を味わいながらコーヒーや料理を堪能するのもいいかもしれません。 一方、本業は農業であるため質の高いカフェの給仕等のサービスは期待しない方がよさそうです。入口を入るとすぐにレジが目に入るのですが、先に注文・会計してから着席するのか、着席後に注文するのかが分からず、またその案内もありません。また高齢の方々が給仕・調理・会計を担っているため、注文のためにスタッフを呼ぶ、あるいは給仕までに時間を要することもしばしばあります。カフェのコンセプトからそのようなゆったりなサービスも楽しみの一つではありますので、あまり焦らず利用した方がいいです。 このカフェの名物の一つである、100%自家製全粒粉のマフィンと、わざびと生ハム・野菜を挟んだ『わふぃんサンド』をいただきました。素朴な味わいではありますが、マフィンは冷めると生地が固くなり、少々噛みづらいです。

Also, since the elderly people are in charge of serving, cooking, and accounting, it often takes a long time to call the staff to order or serve. The concept of the cafe is such that such relaxed service is part of the fun, so it's best not to be too hasty.
