河津駅周辺にはいくつか飲食店がありますが、駅に最も近いレストランの一つであるからか、他のレストランと比較しても人気があり、連日のように混雑します。特に休日では開店後10分で待ちの行列が出来る程です。 席数は30席程度。全て3～4人向けのテーブル構成です。一方スタッフの数は足りていないように感じ、また注文・給仕・会計の処理に慣れていないスタッフも散見されます（丁寧な接客ではありますが）。そのため、混雑時には注文や給仕に手間取り、待たされることがあることに注意が必要です。 一方、料理はしっかりと拵えられており、新鮮な魚介類を使っているため歯ごたえも良く、ご飯との相性も抜群で最後まで美味しくいただくことが出来ました。海外からの観光客向けに、メニューに英語が併記されています。

There are several restaurants around Kawazu Station, but perhaps because it is one of the closest restaurants to the station, it is more popular than the others and is crowded every day. Especially on weekends and holidays, there is a line of people waiting 10 minutes after the restaurant opens. There are about 30 seats. All the tables are designed for 3-4 people. On the other hand, the staff seems to be insufficient in number, and some of them are not used to handling orders, serving, and accounting (although they are polite). Great place, the salmon was really good, and there was staff constantly around if you need something.

The location isn't the biggest, so during peak time you may have to wait. It took a bit for the food to come out but you can see that they're busy so that makes sense. It's also right next door to the station so it's a great place to eat when getting off the train.
