Okinawa Story — Restaurant in Kitanakagusuku

I made a reservation about a week ago. If you book through online, you are booking an 'omakase course' which is 2,500 yen and every menu is up to the chef. You can call if you would like to make some arrangements and make sure to inform what you are allergic to upon arrival.

Today's main dish was Hamburg. My husband had never tried Japanese Hamburg before and he liked it. Everything brought by the chef was great and the coffee was superb. Today's dessert was a mini pancake. We ordered creme brulee with additional cost on top of it and both were delicious.

I will definitely go back again. I can't believe we could have this amazing course for only 2,500 yen and all the ingredients were very thoughtfully selected.

外人住宅をお洒落に可愛らしく改装した店舗。店内には飲食スペースの他に雑貨や絵画の展示・販売コーナーが設けられており、食事の前後に観覧可能。開放感のある屋外のダイニングエリアも興をそそられる。

結婚式やその他イベントに利用されている他、全国規模のインターネットラジオ「ゆめのたね放送局」沖縄スタジオが併設されている。

料理やデザートは繊細で、一つ一つの食材に丁寧な仕事が施されている。例えば付け合わせのピクルス一切れにさえも新鮮な驚きがあり、味加減が絶妙。

とにかくお腹いっぱい食べたいという方にはお勧めしない。しかし、上品で美味しい料理と居心地の良い空間、そして、ジェントルで気さくなマスターのお人柄が織りなす心豊かな時間は、訪れた人に料金以上の多幸感を与えるに違いない。
