Janchan offered a wide variety of meats that we can enjoy from the tongue to the marble meat. It is quite a fun experience to cook and enjoy the food. I like how the grill is so powerful that we don't have to wait long to enjoy the meal. All the meats I ate are awesome! Some indeed have melt-in-your-mouth character there. I think the kimchi soup is a bit underwhelming, maybe to complement the meat? Still one can't deny that this is a solid yakiniku place that you should try in the city...

We went without reservations when they just opened up for dinner, and we were able to get a table.

To be honest we thought it is good but it isn’t crazily good like the Google Review’s rating… We have been to many many Yakiniku restaurants including Yakiniku Don Don, and we think some dishes from the latter restaurant is actually better, such as the beef tongue with green onions and the cold noodle.

But all in all it is still a good Yakiniku place and will be worth a try if you don’t...

Staff had an english speaker who was very helpful and a great person to talk to. With my limited Japanese i did not see any course options in the menu, but if you’d like to try different cuts, ask as they can arrange it. Only part I didn’t enjoy was lard/some kind of innards, but they specifically asked me if I eat this kind of thing, so it’s on me. They will ask about beef tongue as well, but this one you actually should get as it’s delicious.
