Glück — Restaurant in Kobe

Great French Lean and sourdough breads , very happy to have found this little bakery

Glück has become -by far- my favorite bread bakery in Kobe. The Lodeb (Pain de Lodève) is my favorite bread of all times by now, the caramelized crust , the soft, slightly moist and chewy inside are simply perfection in bread baking!

As a German, I find the pretzels to be also the best in Kobe. The pretzels on its own , or the pretzel sandwiches that are sold are both worth to try.

Finally, the couple running the place are also great and social people. I don’t speak any Japanese , but they have always been very kind to me and did lots of effort to explain the various offerings and to share their passion.

Overall , Glück has been a place that makes me happy each time I go , it gives me both a personal happiness and joy due to the positive energy of the place and the owners, as well as a feeling and taste of home due to the fantastic French and German breads they offer . I feel really lucky to have found such a bakery and such amazing people so close to my home in Japan, and will keep visiting...

各線三ノ宮駅から大通りを山側の方に向かって歩き10～15分ほど 本当にこんなところにパン屋さんが？な住宅街 公園の真向かいにお店があります メインはドイツパンです

来店日がお店のパン祭りの日だったそうで お店がとても忙しい日だったようです そんな中でも丁寧に接客していただき 感謝しかありません

ゆっくりパンが選べるように入場制限が設けられています 基本は二人です お店の中はずらりと並んだパンのいい匂い 大きなサイズのパンは一個丸ごとも購入可能ですが 半分や四分の一にカットしてもらえます
