I have a love hate relationship with this property. First impression was pretty bad. Firstly it's rather inflexible for the property to handle check in . My booking apps name ( Christian ) is not my passport name which is my Chinese name. They insist me to change it to check me in. I had no problem travelling across the globe and this place is giving me a hard time. I showed them , my id , other hotel loyalty cards to no avail. Took me twenty minutes to just process check in kudos to my booking app customer service. Nowadays housekeeping had been outsourced to south Asian in Japan for kansai region. Quality drop terribly. When I finally checked in , I lift up my toilet seat . I found a strain of curly hair on the seat. This means the seat was not sanitized and wipe down after last guest have left. This is a health and safety breach. Nevertheless I'm too tired to pull a fuss. I simply do a self sanitize and wipe down, resigned to my fate. How hard is it to do a simple check in and have a clean room? The hotel isn't that prominent. It took some navigation to get there. Although it's a mere 5 minutes walk from station exit. It's slightly away from busier side of town. Property was huge in the inside. Quite a number of rooms per floor. Being in Kobe , room is slightly generous than standard Japanese business hotel. Some eatery is stone thrown away with a supermarket just beside. Love their 5-8pm cocktail bar. Little value added.. Although a huge property, only two lift available for hundreds of guests to use . Peak hour maybe a wait. Overall a nice hotel but service and heartware needs further...
Read moreI'm very impressed with this hotel since the first step into the lobby area. The receptionist are very welcoming with big smile. Even though they have a self check out machine they still assist us with check in earlier at 1pm. I didn't get the name of the kind lady that assist us and we didn't see her again to ask for her name e but she recommends us to the best kobe steak restaurant nearby.
The room itself is small but clean and well equipped. I like the window next to the bed that helps me get a natural sun light when applying my makeup. At the lobby area they have coffee tea machine and even soda fountain machine that Guests can access Anytime. And the best thing is without having to pay for club lounge, they provide happy hour between 5-8pm f or guests to have snacks, alcohol and wine for free!!! It's amazing. They have 21 choices of tea bag you can choose as well. I'm so impressed with this hotel that I actually cancel the next hotel I'm supposed to be staying at next destination which is Tokyo Haneda and quickly make a reservation at Villa Fontaine in Haneda a Irport.
Check out was swift and the very nice lady help me with few favour which I very appreciate. Ms Nakashima help us with reservation for lunch that day and huge favor is to contact the hotel that we check out the day before in Kyoto as my partner left his headphone in the room. Event though she has trouble getting through the hotel as no one answering the phone she patiently help us with email to get to them. I appreciate and very thankful for her...
Read moreI stayed here for 3 days this time and it was really great. I booked a 14m2 room, but found it was too big. Maybe I upgraded it to an 18m2 room! I believe it is enough to open two large luggage, and it has a desk and a sofa bed. Bottled water was not provided unless requested at the front desk. The toilet is also very large and has a bathtub. It is not as small as other business-type hotel toilets. The only drawback is that the wash basin is designed to easily bounce off clothes and the water pipe is also very close to the wash basin. It is not a good design, so I use a towel pad these days. live. However, the hotel sells tickets in front of some famous Kobe attractions. I happened to go to Kobe Animal Kingdom and bought it successfully, which was an unexpected surprise! There is Daiso, a supermarket, and a duty-free drug store on the corner, and there is a 7-eleven just 1 minute away. It is about 4 minutes away from Jinki bus station, 6-7 minutes away from JR and port liner, and about 8-9 minutes away from Hanshin/Hankyu. , the location is very convenient. It's much quieter than the street near Donki, but it's not far from shopping streets/main stations, so it's very suitable for people who are alone or like quiet. It would be more popular if this hotel chain had a large bathhouse/hot spring like other branches, but it's a...
