Probably the best lunch/brunch place in town (esp. for foreigners) + most importantly, it’s gluten free friendly.
The one in Sannomiya has a nicer location & view, but if you’re around Shin Kobe, it’s the classiest place you can have a nice authentic Italian meal & coffee.
The eggplant lasagna is my favourite lunch, salad is also made with olive oil, no soy sauce, and a few gluten free deserts (traditional Italian orange chocolate cake & chocolate muffin) are available, so you won’t feel deprived if you re GF. (Rare in Japan!)
Pro tip ☀️ It seems pricey for only coffee & dessert, but the atmosphere is fine & classy with high quality Italian furniture like comfy Calligaris chairs & the service is great.
