I had the chance to try most of the dishes at Marutaka Restaurant and everything was excellent! I like that they offer both Western food (like hamburgers or pizza) and pizza, but of course you can also choose from a variety of Japanese meals. I personally love Japanese cuisine, so that’s what I mostly went for.
The karaage and teriyaki chicken are always a great choice, If you’re open to trying something different, I really recommend to try eg. chicken gizzards, hearts, or tori kawaguchi (fried chicken skin). These are typical dishes for a Japanese-style evening dining experience (Izakaya).
The desserts are also very tasty, including their homemade “bublanina” – a traditional Czech dessert.
The restaurant is run by a Japanese-Czech couple, so you can easily speak both Japanese and English here. I also have to mention the lovely atmosphere and of course, the owners and staff who are so kind and always smiling.
Highly recommended –...
