大阪ホルモン — Restaurant in Kumagaya

This is a great place, I've been coming to this restaurant for the last two years, and everytime I've had the chance to eat here I always have a great experience.

First, a few musts, reserve reserve reserve! The server always looks sad when he tells me and my friends that they're booked out, it's a very popular place in Kumagaya. So call ahead.

Another thing is that it's small and cozy. So it gives a home kind of feel. I'd compare it to the local bars back home.

My favorite thing to eat here, is the chijimi, harami, and their spicy soup called yukejan (it might be incorrect spelling). Their menu, is all on their walls. So, a command of the Japanese language is required. Lucky for me I've always come with a friend who can navigate. The staff is super friendly and they'll love to talk to you and help you out to the best of their ability.

They're English is limited to thank you very much, and "your Japanese is very well." But they understand a lot. Regardless don't take that for granted. Anyway, I definitely recommend...

熊谷のホルモンは2種類あり、客が焼く前に供するホルモンを生で捌いて出すか、一度熱を加えたものを捌き出すか？どちらが旨いか、好きか、どの店がいいのか？これを飲み屋の客同士で語りだせばそれを肴に果てしなく酔っぱらって仕舞います。大阪ホルモンは生。旨くて安くて何度も旨い生捌きホルモン。そして大阪ホルモン店内カウンター越しに見る、こちらの大将の捌きの見事さ、笑顔と愛想の素晴らしさ、店員さんも含め接客はホルモンの旨い脂のように心を奪う見事さです。もちろんテーブル席も用意され家族連れやグループが笑顔でホルモンを楽しんでいます。テーブル席には時々大将が挨拶に来たりします。その大将は、僕の大好きな女優、グウィネス-パルトローを秘書にしている映画アイアンマンの主役、ロバート・ダウニー-ジュニアそっくりなイタリア系ハンサム（個人的感想です）。この方を見るだけでも元気が出てしまいます。熊谷の生ホルモンの雄としてこれからも熊っ子を虜に...
