Tried many different speciality coffee shops in Kumamoto and I would rate this top 3 for sure. Stuff is very nice, it's run by a guy who is also a barista and is roasting his beans. There is place to sit on the top floor which is quiet and you can enjoy your coffee🫶🏻 Highly recommend!

This café serves the kind of coffee I truly enjoy — mostly light roasts, preserving delicate floral and fruity notes, with a clean profile and a subtle, silky body. I first had a cup of El Salvador at their bookstore branch, then immediately headed to the roaster location for a cup of Ethiopia. Even though the coffees were brewed by different baristas, both were beautifully executed. The shop has a simple, rugged look — a style that rarely disappoints. The second-floor seating area is also kept minimal, making it a relaxed and comfortable space. If you’re in Kumamoto and looking for a great cup of coffee, this is the place to go. 這家咖啡店的咖啡是我很喜歡的風格，淺烘焙咖啡居多，而且保留了花香與果香，清透卻又有微微膠感的口感。 我先在書店的分店喝了一杯薩爾瓦多的咖啡，又立刻去 roaster 這家喝了一杯衣索比亞的咖啡，即使不同咖啡師沖的咖啡，都有很好的表現。 店面簡單粗獷，這種風格的店家不容易踩雷呀。 二樓的內用區也是簡單風格，很輕鬆的地方。 如果你在熊本想找到好喝的咖啡就來這裡吧！

This is a good place for coffee and the guy is nice and everything but hardly the kind of place to make a special detour to find - unless you are a coffee fanatic. To say it lacks atmosphere or charm is an understatement…. sadly.

I stumbled upon this great little coffee roastery and was genuinely impressed. The space had a warm, inviting vibe, but what really stood out was the care and attention from the attendant. I had a bit of a tricky order—taking out both a toast and an iced latte—but she went out of her way to make it work smoothly.

The mayo and egg toast was perfectly prepared—rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. And the iced latte? Just what I needed to kick off my morning. Smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality beans. A lovely experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be...
