Very interesting shrine. Nice place for a photo opportunity. There is a ring you can walk through a certain way to get luck. There is an area to wash your hands to bless yourself. There is also a pray section and plaques to pray to various god's. There is also a little shop there with a robot.

A full-experience Japanese shrine. Lines of orange Torii lead up to smaller shrines. The water mikuji was a big hit with my daughter. Instead of opening it up to reveal your fortune like regular mikuji, you place it in a large pot full of water and the text appears.

A nice inari shrine just near the entrance of Kumamoto castle. They have lots of protective charms and fortune papers. You can also get a beautiful goshuinchō. The castle is just behind, it is still under repair (as of March 2020) but it’s definitely worth a visit.
