After my walk in the park, I decided to have lunch at this cafe. I ordered a Caprese sandwich with a mango smoothie. I waited 30 minutes for my smoothie and 50 minutes for my sandwich. I have no idea how they managed that, considering the sandwiches are already prepared. After the long wait, I finally received my lunch. It was a plate with the Caprese sandwich, overly salty arugula, a quarter of a potato, and a heap of carrots. I don’t expect much from Asian countries when it comes to Western food, but this was very disappointing. The final bill was ¥1,800, and for that price, you can have a much better lunch...
Read moreJapan is terrible at sandwiches. They simply don't know how to make a good sandwich 99% of the time. This place does a fairly decent job. Still light on the ingredients, a single slice of pastrami on their pastrami sandwich!!! But they have a pastrami sandwich, so that alone is a win. Their cheese cake is amazing! And big slices too. Everyone working there was super nice. Their smoothies are a tad small for the price but are tasty.
