We were initially disappointed at the look of the place - it's really just a dark, square room in an antique building. When we heard 'seaside restaurant on the water', we certainly had something with a view in mind (or at least windows!)
But the food turned out to be really excellent, and the servers were laid back and friendly. I don't think I'd ever been to a Japanese-slash-Italian restaurant before, but that's what this was. We had both, and both were excellent. The sashimi was fresh and the pasta was fantastic.

I am the only one having food restriction and when I told my Japanese friend, the server quickly changed the dessert for me without extra charge! They also made sure at least twice if I was okay eating the food they served. Very nice place! Also, the place was cozy, a bit formal but I guess it depends on who you're with, too! And the food was freshly served! I ordered sashimi and it was hands down the best sashimi I've ever tasted (not like I ever taste it on any other place xD).
