Hidden gem. Firstly great drinks, fom a wide selection of local and internation whiskies catering for all price ranges through to delicately balanced delicious cocktails. Bar tender has excellent palate and made great and inventive cocktails. Hands down the best negroni I have ever had (more sweet than an Australian version) and a delicate sake martini. The ambiance was nice, hidden away but also right near gion district. A modern take on a traditional small Japanese bar. Would definitely recommend to friends, family, locals and other travelers. (Prices very reasonable per Japanese standards) Went back a second time, as enjoyed our first so much. Different bartender but just as great experience as the first. We were circling around Tokyo, just leaving one of the temples (worth visiting btw), and we came across the BAR LIQUOR MUSEUM, our first thought… a lovely little cocktail place in Tokyo. Then… we thought beautiful cocktail!!! Very tasty btw. AND THEN WE NOTICED…. The magician show… Matcha, our host, (very well English btw, very helpful hihihi) he started the magic tricks, along with very nice pink cocktails, special shoutout to Karen, Sakura. The magic tricks were BEYOND magical! We loved this and it was a beautiful first experience of the night life in Kyoto. To next time!!!

Every sip was perfection. Ayane and Matsumoto crafted pure artistry in every cocktail we had. We began with the delicately sweet Mio Sparkling Sake, then indulged in the Ki No Pearl, Sake Martini, Cherry Blossom Blizzard, and Rose Pearl cocktails—each one pure magic.
