I found this place by accident one evening while looking for a dessert cafe. I'm really glad I found it as it has really good food and desserts. We had pancakes and ice cream and we went again to the next day to try the food and I was not disappointed. I'll definitely come here again next time I'll be in Kyoto. To make the place even better there are 2 lovely cats❤️

The place has a nice and friendly atmosphere with good music playing in the background. The cat, Omochi-kun, is really fluffy and sweet that I can't help but want to play with him. I'm a really shy person and I was nervous coming in alone, but I'm glad I did. Whether you come during the day or at night, you won't regret it.

The place has a nice and friendly atmosphere with good music playing in the background. The cat, Omochi-kun, is really fluffy and sweet that I can't help but want to play with him. I'm a really shy person and I was nervous coming in alone, but I'm glad I did. Whether you come during the day or at night, you won't regret it.

We had a delightful time at Mochi Mochi Cafe! This cozy spot is made even better by the presence of two adorable cats who were very friendly and playful. The staff were incredibly welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

As non-Japanese speakers, we appreciated how the employees comfortably spoke English and used translation tools when needed, making it easy to communicate. We felt right at home.

We visited with our almost 3-year-old daughter, and the staff kindly offered a kids' plate so she could share our food. The food itself was delicious – we enjoyed huge, cat-shaped pancakes that were both cute and tasty, and the omurice was equally satisfying with a generous portion size.

Mochi Mochi Cafe is definitely a place we’ll be returning to...

If the cats don't bring you here, the amazing hamburg steaks will. We had the Japanese style onion sauce hamburg steak and it did not disappoint. It was juicy, flavourful, and cooked to perfection.
