Great local mom and pop shop run by friendly staff. Everyone is Thai, so the flavor is authentic. I wanted to like this place more but I think they sweetened the food a little bit for Japanese tastes. The appetizers and the sauces were fantastic. When we got the pad thai and the gapao chicken, it wasn’t as spicy as other places, and had a sweep was to it. Otherwise, the cook was good and the flavor profile also authentic. Close to Nijo station and worth the 500m walk if you’re looking for decent Thai...

Authentic Thai restaurant runs by all friendly Thai. We were craving for Thai after more than a week in Japan. All the dishes we ordered were yummy and tasted authentic. Fresh sweet basils, other herbs were used for cooking. Prawns and meat were fresh. Price is reasonable. Public hourly parking is available nearby.

When staying at the Urban hotel Kyoto Nijo Premium we were looking for diner close by. Just around the corner we saw this Thai restaurant but it was really populair among the locals so there was a line. Later that week we tried again earlier in the day so there was no line yet.

The food was very good and when asking for vegetarian options they told us we could choose anything and they would make it...
