Hakatakko is a Hakata style ramen shop in Kyoto. Hakata ramen is made with a rich pork bone broth called tonkotsu. It's fatty and delicious. They do a very nice style here for reasonable prices. It's not as good as what you'll find in Fukuoka, but considering how far Kyoto is from Fukuoka this a very solid alternative. The spicy tonkotsu ramen is a bit strange with paprika powder over the top so stick with the main style unless you love spicy food.
The gyoza are every bit as good as you'll find in Hakata so order the regular rather than large bowl of ramen to save room for a side of gyoza.
