We had an incredible experience dining at Numan and Nehan Halal Kitchen. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a loud and heartfelt “Assalamalikum” by Riaz and Ahmad, who made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers. Their hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. We began with the tomato soup and chicken kabob salad, recommended by Riaz. While the soup leaned a bit sweet for our taste, the salad was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, we ordered the Mix Kabob Platter, Mutton Dum Biryani, and Butter Chicken with plain butter naan. The biryani completely stole the show—it was bursting with flavor, aromatic, and unlike anything we’ve tasted before. The naan was thin, buttery, and paired beautifully with the creamy butter chicken, melting in the mouth with every bite. To end the meal, we indulged in Gajar Halwa topped with strawberry ice cream and Gulab Jamun with chai. Both desserts were rich, comforting, and the perfect finish to a memorable meal. Overall, Numan and Nehan Halal Kitchen delivers not just food, but an experience—a mix of authentic flavors, genuine hospitality, and warmth that makes you want to return again and again. Highly...

Arrived in kyoto hours before, straight to the hotel and back out for food, head 60 metres down the road and this is where we end up, and I am so thankful we did, for a start the service was incredible, water constantly topped up, polite and friendly, next, the food, starting with a complimentary tomato soup, one of the most delicious tomato soups I've ever had, we then had or appetizers, 5 pieces of chicken tikka and 2 samosa, all very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The main course however... The absolute star of the show, I had the chicken biryani and my goodness, the best biryani I've ever had hands down, the two side toppings/sauces, combined together with the rice and xhicken, genuinely top 10 things I've ever eaten, and I eat alot, thank you so much for this meal it has made our start to this leg of our trip one to...

A Hidden Gem Between Arashiyama and Gion!

We were heading back from the breathtaking Arashiyama Bamboo Forest to Gion in the evening when hunger hit hard — and finding halal food nearby was proving impossible. Most places were shut. Then we stumbled upon this spot, and honestly, it was a blessing.

We ordered the biryani, naan, chicken seekh kebab, and daal fry — and every bite was bursting with authentic flavor. Even our youngest, usually the pickiest eater, couldn’t get enough. That alone says a lot.

The cherry on top? A clean, dedicated prayer area for those who need it. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and the entire place was spotless.

If you’re in the area and looking for halal food that hits the spot — don’t miss this place. Absolutely...

Absolutely loved this Indian restaurant—we went to this restaurant while visiting Japan, it’s one of the best Indian restaurant we found. The menu offers a wide range of flavorful, well-prepared dishes made with fresh ingredients and authenticity. Every bite was full of taste, we ordered several items, Onion Pakoda, falafel and biryani were the best ones. On top of that, the service was exceptional—the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. If you’re looking for a great Indian restaurant with amazing vegetarian options, a calm and inviting environment, and top-notch service, this place is a must-visit in Japan.

When we arrived, there was only one waiter, an India Initially, the waiter greeted us well, but because there were 12 of us, he was overwhelmed with our requests, so he missed some dishes and mumbled in his India. The food was delicious, but lacked special flavor due to the lack of spices. And the good thing, he allowed us to pray in the restaurant.
