12/6/2023 My friend just asked me to eat there because she said it was delicious and the servings were large. I can't finish a bowl of ramen if it's not my type, but I go to different ramen restaurants just to taste it so if I like it I'll come back. As a foreigner here in Japan, we also want to explore and eat different Japanese foods, right?. Anyways, we entered there before or after 10:30 at night. When my friend and I entered, I saw that there were many men eating in front of the counter, on both sides of the counter there was no one. I said that I wanted to sit on the other side of the counter but they stopped me because they said it was not possible. I don't know if it's reserved or not, so I said can't we choose a seat? The two men said no. I don't know if they are part-timers or owners. I said again that I wanted to sit on the other side, they called the cook saying that I wanted to sit on the other side. The cook said it's not possible there. So we just said, okay. Then the cook asked if we want the serving to be smaller, because they are not the usual ramen restaurant. They say there can't be any left over. I said that mine is small, but my friendâs is regular. And before serving, they would ask if itâs okay for you to put garlic on top or not. The ramen broth is delicious, the noodles are also delicious, the meat is also super soft and big. But I couldn't really finish mine even I gave some to my friend, so there was some left over. When weâre preparing to go out from the restaurant, the one guy said there was still some leftover. I said will I pay again? He just repeated that there was still some left over, I said I can't eat it anymore, will I pay again?. The cook replied that it's okay, it's okay. My friend who went there several times said that her other friend also had leftovers but was not told anything by anyone. Are they really like that for everyone or only for foreigners? I've never been to a ramen restaurant where the rules are like that and the staff...

The locals queuing around the building speaks for itself. Would recommend using google lense on a photo of the ordering machine ahead of time to sus out the menu as there is no English anywhere, however when we went there was a very friendly staff member that gave us some help and...
