It is not a “dog cafe” but dogs are allowed to enter. I called before going to make sure they have space for my dog and they happily welcomed and reserved a seat for us. It has become one of the very rare cafes (*I mean ordinary cafe, not dog cafe) in Kyoto where my dog can go in with me. Usually most cafes even if they allow dogs we have to sit outside in the “terrace” area.
The food there is good too. Fresh and big portion. They have a variety of food and desserts which you can choose from. For vegetarians you may ask them to arrange the menu for you. They are quite flexible with their menu.
