I went there with my girlfriend. We had a plate of Japanese curry and a plate of pasta without bacon. When we arrived restaurant, we asked plug for charge our phone first, because we are coming from very long way. Staff said that we need to order first. After we ordered, nobody helped us although there is nobody without us as customer in restaurant. Another point, the woman who took our order, we thought that she is boss, was very rude. When my girlfriend asked the possibility of removing bacon from pasta, her reaction was exaggregated. That behaviour was very unnecessary. We came from Turkey, took 13000 km but not for that. We didn't do anything...

Before covid19, you could have lunch for 1,000 to 1,500 yen, but now the price has been revised to over 2,000 yen, which is the norm.

Frankly speaking, I feel the prices are quite high for the taste, service, and atmosphere. The restaurant is adjacent to a certain university campus, so you can see a lot of greenery outside the windows, and the sunlight filtering through the trees is very nice. However, if this is not the case and no effort has been put into caring for the trees and weeds as this is not the restaurant's property, I would evaluate this shop without the nice outside atmosphere and view.

As for the service, I have the impression that it is courteous, but the overall response time is slow when approached from the table, at the checkout, and before the food is served. This is especially noticeable when the restaurant is a little crowded. In this respect, I often thought that the service was not attentive for the price.

Perhaps it is because there are many tourist attractions nearby and there are many tourists, including foreigners, that the restaurant is able to do well at these prices, but it is no longer a place where locals can spend a relaxing time on a daily basis as it used to be.

I can't help but hope that the balance will be adjusted a little, such as offering a more affordable menu at least for...

Rude service and unworthy food, do not go there unless you want to waste both your time and money. We were two and came to this cafe which looked beautiful. Unfortunately the service was not welcoming at all and we felt like leaving as soon as possible. We nicely asked if it was possible to charge 1 of our phones while eating a $15 waffle + coffee and the staff refused 3 fimes in a row. Then the owner stated "no charging in my shop" before changing her mind, taking it and saying "10 min only". Then we received the food and bill at the...

My favorite cafe in Kyoto! We always make a point to stop when we are in the city. In my opinion they make the best matcha latte in Japan! Their breakfasts are very good and I recently tried the hamburg stew which was so dreamy on a cold day. I highly reccomend! I also highly reccomend any of their cookies or desserts. Don't forget to bring cash as they do not take credit cards. The menus have English on them so it makes it easy to order got tourists. The staff is always very friendly. I can not wait to go back!

Coffee here is excellent—probably the best I’ve had in Japan so far. The atmosphere is peaceful and stylish, and the customer service is very good. However, the prices are quite high—many items cost almost double compared to other cafés or restaurants. The food is tasty but expensive, and it’s surprising that they only accept cash when asking for such high prices. Still, it’s a lovely spot if you’re looking for a quality coffee experience and don’t mind paying extra.
